Bilingual Work Facilitation Specialist

CAN, Quebec - Full Time Remote Full time

The AMCS Disability Operations team is looking for an individual with a high focus on customer service to join their team as a Bilingual Work Facilitation Specialist (WFS). They will support Group Disability operations by coordinating ergonomic assessments and return-to-work initiatives, helping claimants’ transition back to work more efficiently. You will collaborate closely with Case Managers to manage a range of cases and deliver Absence Management Consultation Services (AMCS), while maintaining consistent communication with stakeholders both virtually and in person.

**This is a work-from-home opportunity in Québec. You will need to travel throughout your home province, so having a personal vehicle and a valid driver's license is necessary.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Support Group Disability profitability by accelerating timely, sustainable return-to-work outcomes for claimants.
  • Coordinate and facilitate ergonomic assessments and return-to-work meetings (virtual and in-person) by communicating with stakeholders via phone and email.
  • Partner with Case Managers to manage medical, non-medical, and complex claims using a goal-oriented plan aligned with the overall case strategy.
  • Deliver Absence Management Consultation Services (AMCS) in collaboration with Case Managers, including ergonomic evaluations and return-to-work planning and follow-up.

Qualifications:

  • University degree in Kinesiology, Ergonomics, or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of vocational/active rehabilitation experience and/or disability case management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of occupational health issues, vocational rehabilitation practices, and disability insurance.
  • Fully bilingual (French/English) with the ability to support clients across jurisdictions outside Quebec.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle, with willingness to travel to multiple locations.
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology and the ability to interpret clinical information in a workplace context. Ability to perform ergonomic evaluations/facilitation meetings.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional stakeholder management.
  • Strong PC proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).

Salary range is expected to be between

$52,650.00 CAD - $87,750.00 CAD

Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
