BI & Data Analyst

We are looking for a skilled BI & Data Analyst to join our Technology & Data Solutions team. In this role, you will support data governance and business intelligence initiatives across Cushman & Wakefield’s global accounts. You will play a key part in ensuring data quality, preparing and transforming datasets, and contributing to the ETL processes that power our reporting and analytics. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure data practices align with business needs, while also designing and developing dashboards and reports that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Data Transformation & ETL

  • Own and manage client data transformation processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with reporting requirements across the Triana platform (Cushman and Wakefield’s BI and data platform).

  • Design, build, and maintain data flows in collaboration with Data Engineering.

  • Refresh, monitor, and maintain existing data pipelines, datasets, and BI assets.

Client Data & Business Understanding

  • Develop a strong understanding of client data sources, business logic, and reporting needs.

  • Translate business requirements into data transformations, datasets, and BI outputs.

  • Support client adoption of Triana by assessing data readiness and identifying risks or gaps.

BI & Dashboard Development

  • Build custom dashboards with guidance and peer review from BI colleagues.

  • Ensure dashboards meet standards for usability, consistency, and performance.

  • Document BI processes, reporting specifications, and user guides.

Data Quality & Issue Resolution

  • Identify, investigate, and resolve data quality issues across pipelines and BI assets.

  • Define and track data quality metrics with data owners.

  • Support data quality assessments during reporting cycles.

Data Governance & Metadata

  • Capture and maintain metadata including definitions, lineage, business rules, and transformations.

  • Ensure data dictionaries and glossaries remain accurate and up to date.

  • Apply governance standards across the common data model.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Work closely with BI Analysts, Data Engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality BI solutions.

  • Maintain strong communication with data owners to support stewardship and governance.

  • Recommend improvements to data processes, BI assets, and quality controls.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT, Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience, including:

    • Working within data governance frameworks, or

    • Building queries, reports, or data quality monitoring tools, or

    • Supporting data compliance activities.
       

  • Intermediate knowledge of:

    • Agile delivery practices

    • Data management and governance principles

    • Data security and risk awareness

    • Stakeholder communication and collaboration
       

  • Experience with Power BI and Python preferred.

  • Experience with Databricks, Alteryx, AI tools, PowerApps, APIs, or SQL is a plus.

  • Knowledge of commercial real estate is an advantage.
