BI analyst in Group Business Finance

Are you ready to take on a role where you will be converting financial data into tangible and relevant business insights, which is actually going to be used? Then join Hempel’s Business Finance Analytics team and help deliver world class financial planning, reporting and insights to the Hempel senior management teams. In this role you will be actively participating in implementing and acting on opportunities to develop the Hempel business worldwide.

A job in the sweet spot between systems, data, finance and the business

The team surrounding data and analytics is playing an essential part of providing the necessary data insight to guide Hempel through the current growth phase aiming towards doubling the company’s performance within the next few years. In this position you will help develop functional BI-tools and be supporting our finance teams with financial reporting-, analysis- and Planning system related tasks across the Hempel group worldwide. You will also be playing an important role in the ongoing journey in simplifying & optimizing our finance data, structures and implementation of supporting master data hierarchies.

The main tasks you can look forward to being involved in are:

• Developing PowerBI finance solutions and taking the next step in our Finance analytics journey

• Supporting on financial planning processes, to minimize colleague's workload and maximize usage of our systems (Tagetik, PowerBI, MS Dynamics and SAP)

• Participating in projects across the group where financial data and data structures is in focus.

• Helping simplify and automate financial planning and financial reporting across the group.

• Maintenance and support on our financial systems with day-to-day contact with finance data users around the world.

Personal drive, curiosity and flair for systems & finance

There are multiple ways to qualify for this position. We imagine you to either have a relevant theoretical background within finance (master’s degree) or a technical background complimented with some experience from financial planning systems & business intelligence. Ideally you also have experience from a similar position in an international company.

Furthermore you:

• Have a strong personal drive, are ambitious and a pro-active team player.

• Are fluent in English, both written and spoken

• Have a natural interest in understanding the business, the data behind it and the supporting systems

• Have strong analytical capabilities and attention to details.

• Are customer focused with a customer centric mindset.
