The Boeing CompanyBoeing Global Services (BGS) is currently seeking a BGS-G Repairs Procurement Manager (Level K) to join the team in Dallas, TX. This individual will oversee the Trainers & Derivates Integrated Sourcing and Supplier Performance organization. You will lead a team of supply chain professionals operating across all aspects of the procurement process.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages Procurement Agent employees performing activities related to committing company resources to purchase goods and services, developing supplier strategies, development of bid packages, proposal analysis, and development of contracts.
Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Provides oversight regarding negotiation processes and related tools. Manages, develops and motivates employees
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ Years of experience in a Procurement role
Negotiation experience in government contracting, terms and conditions, and pricing.
Experience with TINA, FAR, and DFAR compliance
Experience working with suppliers
Executive communication experience
Experience influencing at all levels of the organization
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
NWP, SMPP, Gold Experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
Bachelors or higher preferred
Experience serving as the empathetic “voice of the customer”
Experience with problem-solving and managing the team to drive solutions
Experience as a strong leader, collaborator, and team player
