THE JOB:
The primary responsibility of the Beverage Host at New York-New York is to ensure a seamless and welcoming arrival experience by managing guest seating and entry in a prompt, professional, and friendly manner while maintaining exceptional service standards.
THE STARTING RATE: $22.7323 USD Hourly
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Reflect the attitude, theme and culture of the venue's concept to ensure a welcoming, inviting and authentic Hospitality and Entertainment experience
Stock items and products in designated work areas
Knowledgeable of Hotel activities, outlets and hours of operations and make reservations accommodating seating requests
Ensure awareness of entrance, casino guests and regular customers
Collect money while following all proper cash handling and comp procedures
Clean equipment, tools, and supplies and ensure equipment is in good working order, including cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of workstation
Check identification of all guests who enter the lounge, ensure they are 21 years of age
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
1+ Years of prior relevant experience in a high‐volume full‐service lounge, nightclub, entertainment venue, or restaurant
Experience working in a similar resort setting preferred
