Amynta is seeking a Benefits Coordinator to support the day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs. This position is responsible for processing benefits enrollments and changes, maintaining accurate records, and responding to employee inquiries. The Benefits Coordinator collaborates with internal and external business partners to ensure timely and accurate benefits administration, routine benefits billing support, and assistance with disability-related processes, as directed.Supports administration of group benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plans
Manages COBRA administration, including qualifying event processing, election notice coordination, enrollment/termination updates, and responding to participant inquiries in accordance with established procedures
Processes benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations in HRIS and carrier/vendor systems; ensures entries are complete and accurately documented
Responds to employee inquiries regarding benefits eligibility, coverage, and processes within established guidelines; escalates complex issues as appropriate
Supports new hire onboarding related to benefits, including distribution of materials, enrollment guidance, and follow-up on required documentation
Assists with disability-related administration (e.g., intake support, documentation tracking, vendor communication) under direction; responsibilities may expand with experience
Maintains accurate benefits records and documentation in accordance with internal controls and confidentiality requirements
Performs data entry, audits, and reconciliations to help ensure data consistency between HRIS and carrier/vendor systems
Assists with open enrollment activities, including system setup support, communications distribution, tracking, and post-enrollment auditing
Supports routine benefits billing activities, such as reviewing straightforward carrier/vendor invoices, validating eligibility counts, and routing discrepancies for resolution
Supports compliance activities (as assigned), including compliance notices, preparation and distribution of required communications, and maintenance of related documentation
Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
3 years of administrative, HR, benefits, or customer service experience
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Comfort working with invoices and basic reconciliations
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Ability to handle protected health information (PHI) and other sensitive data in accordance with privacy requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Experience with Workday or other HRIS/benefits administration systems
General understanding of employee benefits programs
Experience with routine invoice processing or benefits billing support
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
