As a Benefits Analyst Senior, you will be the primary architect and driver of our benefits communications strategy. In this role, you will design, develop, and deliver clear, engaging, and effective communications that help employees understand and maximize their benefits. You will collaborate with internal and external partners—including HR, PR & Marketing, Legal, and service providers—to create educational materials, manage benefits information on the intranet, and lead presentations that inform and empower our workforce.Job Duties:
Reviews, analysis’s and the administration of retirement (401(k), 403(b), 457(b), 457(f)), and health and welfare employee benefit programs, for union and non-union employees. Assures compliance with all applicable state and federal regulation. Responsibilities include recommending programs, preparing bid specifications and reviewing contracts, explaining benefits and assisting in the business development and planning processes with service providers. Compiles, analyzes and reports data; includes employee benefit plans and financials for strategic benefits planning and evaluation, best practices and benchmark surveys. Interacts with HRIS representatives to provide benefits operational support. Provides benefit plan interpretation, guidance and counsel to employees, HRIS representatives, HR Consultants and managers, and coordinates activities as they relate to benefits administration across various departments including Payroll, Human Resources and Legal. Presents information to inform and educate management. Serves as a liaison with service providers in business planning and benefit program interpretation. This position will be responsible for maintaining accurate benefit data and files, data analysis, developing and implementing best in class solutions for benefits delivery, managing assigned vendor relationships, performance and implementation, participating in strategic and innovation sessions, owning and driving process improvement in various areas, assisting with open enrollment and other project based work as needed.
