The Benefits Analyst supports the Sr. Manager, Benefits in administering benefit-related tasks, including invoice processing, transaction management, audits, and assisting employees with benefit questions and enrollments. This role also provides back-up support for partner benefit inquiries.

What You Will Do:

Open Enrollment Coordination:

  • Supports annual open enrollment activities, including health fairs, vendor coordination, scheduling, and answering employee questions.

  • Tests open enrollment functionality in the HRIS platform to ensure accuracy and smooth execution.

Benefits Administration:

  • Processes enrollments, qualifying status and other changes, and terminations in Workday.

  • Enters manual enrollments, changes, and terminations in vendor systems when necessary.

Education & Communication:​​

  • Promotes firm benefit programs and maintain updated documentation on internal platforms.

  • Presents benefits orientation to new employees.

Auditing & Process Improvement:

  • Develops and audits processes related to benefit plan administration.

  • Identify discrepancies, reconcile accounts, and analyze enrollment/utilization data for improvement opportunities.

Vendor & Invoice Management:

  • Processes benefit invoices, review HRIS audit reports, and coordinate with Finance for payments.

  • Liaises with carriers/vendors to resolve issues and review electronic data feeds.

  • Reconciles discrepancies between vendor data and internal records.

  • May serve as point person for designated vendor(s).

Compliance & Documentation:

  • Maintains knowledge of COBRA, ACA, ERISA, and state-level requirements impacting benefits.

  • Updates templates and documentation to ensure compliance.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • 3+ years of experience in HR Benefits analysis or/and administration related functions.

  • Working knowledge of all federal and state requirements (i.e. COBRA,  FMLA, ERISA, etc.)

  • Strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills necessary to articulate to partners, employees and retirees the features and requirements of the firm's retirement benefit programs and cash balance plan for partners.

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills required (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Experience with Workday a plus.  Experience in implementing new technologies/systems a plus.

  • Working knowledge of web-based computer environment and software programs, spreadsheets, employee database (HRIS).

  • Office environment: 4 days in office required.

  • 5-10% travel inter-office travel particularly during open enrollment season.

The Target Salary Range For This Position Varies By Location And Is Commensurate With Relevant Experience: $65,000.00 - $87,000.00
