About the Role:

The Team: The Americas Benefits Team is responsible for various benefits initiatives across the US, Canada, and LATAM. The Benefits Team works closely with the rest of the People Team to ensure the company’s policies and benefits are best in class.

Responsibilities and Impact:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical HR Benefits Analyst to support the design, administration, and optimization of employee benefits programs, with a primary focus of US. This role is responsible for analyzing benefits data, ensuring compliance with regulations, managing vendor relationships, and communicating with employees and helping them resolve issues. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with a service-oriented mindset.

  • Administer employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, retirement, life insurance, wellness, and much more.

  • Analyze benefits utilization, costs, participation trends, and employee feedback to recommend improvements.

  • Support annual open enrollment planning, communication, system testing, and employee education.

  • Ensure benefits programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., ACA, COBRA, FMLA, ERISA, HIPAA).

  • Maintain accurate employee benefits data in HRIS and benefits administration systems.

  • Reconcile benefits invoices and coordinate billing discrepancies with vendors.

  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for HR leadership and finance teams.

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee benefits inquiries and issue resolution.

  • Partner with payroll to ensure accurate deductions and benefits-related adjustments.

  • Evaluate vendor performance and assist with contract renewals and RFP processes.

  • Support benefits audits and documentation requests.

  • Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and employee experience.

Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $70,817 to $129,994. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.

What We Are Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with US Benefit programs

  • Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent relevant experience.

  • Knowledge of statutory laws and regulations

  • Ability to analyze, interpret and consolidate data as a practical approach to building robust processes and policies

  • Ability to engage and communicate effectively with employees, understand their needs, and educate others on our benefit programs

  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Excellent Microsoft application skills (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook)

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Workday knowledge is a plus

  • A self-starter that is detailed oriented and motivated to achieve results

  • Strong teamwork mentality and ability to work across functions
