Job Summary: About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the CDC III on Nellis AFB, NV. Part-time employees are guaranteed 20 hours but may work up to 34 hours per week. This position does offer benefits. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must be able to speak, read and write English. Must have a strong foundation in applied behavior analysis. Must understand behavioral characteristics associated with behavioral disorders, autism, intellectual abilities, and other behavioral issues. Has a basic understanding of instructional methods and educations curriculum. Has knowledge of and knows how to work with various support systems that are available to the community. Has the ability to train other people to apply behavior management techniques effectively. Must know and understand state and federal laws and regulations associated with special education. Ability to mentor, coach, and train classroom teachers and program management. A master's degree is preferred in early childhood education with experience in behavioral analysis. Specialty certificates in applied behavioral analysis will be accepted as emphasis to your experience in this area. Must have a bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or human services.
