EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
Masters in behavioral science, psychology, behavioral economics, implementation science, or a related field.
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
8 years recent relevant experience
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Proven ability to measure clinical and health outcomes, including metrics such as adherence, patient engagement, activation levels, and condition‑control rates.
Track record of launching, scaling, and iterating behavior‑change programs, ideally reaching 10,000+ users.
Experience in healthcare or digital health environments, such as chronic condition management, remote patient monitoring, or health system operations.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Strong applied behavioral science experience, including digital health, chronic condition management, or remote patient monitoring.
Demonstrated ability to design and implement behavior-change interventions in real-world, fast-moving environments.
Strong experience analyzing behavioral and engagement data, identifying insights, and creating clear action plans for iteration.
Experience collaborating with AI tools or AI/ML teams to translate behavioral logic into scalable capabilities.
Proven track record applying behavioral science to product development, patient engagement, or digital health programs.
Deep understanding of experimental design, behavioral measurement, and interpretation.
Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in an innovative environment.
A passion for applying behavioral science to improve patient outcomes and digital care experiences.
A collaborative working style that builds strong partnerships with clinicians, designers, engineers, and product teams.

Pay Range is $126,256.00 to $189,384.00 / annual salary. Pennsylvania Pay Range is $56.66 to $84.99 / annual salary.The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
