As a Behavioral Health Therapist working in the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) at Lutheran Hospital, you will work as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide assessments and group therapy for children and adolescents at risk for suicide, self-harm, or other mental health crises. Your primary role will be serving as a co-facilitator for the PHP and the IOP when one of the primary therapists is out on PTO or leave. Responsibilities include completing intakes for the PHP and general Mood Disorder focused intakes for adolescent patients, as well as running and facilitating a group or two independently for the PHP as available.
You will use specialized clinical knowledge and advanced skills in psychotherapy, clinical counseling, diagnostic interviewing, assessment, and treatment planning for patients ranging from age 5 through adulthood. Responsibilities include providing individual, group, and family therapy, with a clinical focus across a broad spectrum of mental health conditions, including anxiety and depression.
A caregiver in this position works primarily from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at the Children's Rehabilitation Hospital and provide coverage, as needed, at Lutheran Hospital which will require flexing hours to accommodate evening appointments.
