This role provides support to individuals experiencing behavioral health needs or crisis situations across community, residential, and office-based settings. Services are strength-based and focused on promoting recovery, symptom reduction, increased coping skills, and enhancing independence and overall quality of life. Team members rely on supervision, collaboration, and clinical/operational guidance to provide high-quality care.

Schedule & Pay

Pay starting at:

$24.50/hr for Qualified Professionals

$27.00/hr for Licensed Clinicians

Sign-On Bonus:  $3,000–$5,000 (based on credential level)

Schedules: Part Time, overnight to include weekends

What You’ll Do

  • Provide support, assessment, crisis intervention, and/or counseling for individuals with mental health and/or substance use needs.

  • Deliver services in home, community, residential, school, workplace, or urgent care settings depending on need.

  • Facilitate relationships and serve as a link between individuals served, families/guardians, local agencies, and community resources.

  • Minimize the impact of psychiatric symptoms or substance use on daily functioning through supportive counseling and skill-building.

  • Support clients in developing skills such as daily living, community integration, socialization, adaptation, and behavior/anger management.

  • Conduct case management functions, including referrals, service linkage, and coordination with service teams.

  • Work collaboratively with clinical/professional staff to ensure continuity of care and timely service delivery.

  • Complete required documentation, assessments, and authorizations per service guidelines.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

Qualified Professional Pathway:

Must meet one of the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field + 2 years full-time experience with the population served

  • Bachelor’s degree in a non-Human Services field + 4 years full-time experience

  • Master’s degree or higher + 1 year full-time experience

  • Must meet QP requirements per service definition

  • Valid driver’s license & auto insurance required

Licensed Clinician Pathway (Associate-Level Accepted):

  • Must hold a License, Provisional License, Certificate, Registration, or Permit issued by the governing human services regulatory board

  • Meets service definition requirements for licensed service delivery

  • CPR, First Aid, NCI certification (preferred)

Population Expertise Includes:

  • Mental Health – Adults & Children

  • Substance Use – Adults & Children

Human Service Degrees May Include:

Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Counseling, and other related fields.

Pre-employment screening:

  • Complete criminal background
  • Name checked in the registries. (OIG exclusions database, Child Abuse Registry, and Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities)
  • Drug testing
  • Education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements.
  • Proof of employment history or references (if required)
  • Positions that require driving Proof of driver's license, driver's insurance, and vehicle, IF required for providing transportation for individuals.
