We are looking for a first line manager to lead the Interiors, Payloads and Landing Gear M&P Engineering teams (Everett, Renton).
The selected candidate will be required to work 100% onsite at the listed location with a travel requirement of approximately 20%.
Position responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will excel in both the M&P engineering technical excellence required for this role while also being an engaging and motivating people leader, including committing to:
Manages, develops and motivates a team of roughly 15-20 M&P engineers across the Interiors, Payloads and Landing Gear M&P team.
Collaborates with Program, Fabrication, and Engineering leaders on Top priorities, RIO management, and technology insertions.
Ensures the M&P team is meeting commitments on design development, design reviews, liaison support, qualifications, and supply chain activities.
Manage and execute to budget, staffing, and metrics that evaluate the health of the business.
Inspiring and empowering your team through collaboration, communication, and caring.
Building and nurturing an inclusive culture by seeking different perspectives, speaking up, and actively listening to teammates and stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
5+ years of relevant technical experience in Aerospace or Manufacturing industries
Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership"
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience in Materials & Process Engineering
Airplane program experience
Team leadership and/or management experience
Experience with team building, developing and motivating employees
Strong communication skills and working with executive leaders
Ability to adapt to a changing statement of work
