Job Description
Are you passionate about enabling transformation, compliance excellence, and driving meaningful change? We’re looking for a highly organized and detail‑oriented BBBEE Transformation Coordinator to join our SSA Human Resources team. In this role, you will help strengthen our organization’s BBBEE, Employment Equity and Skills Development outcomes while supporting key compliance and reporting activities across the business.
Key Responsibilities May Include:
- Coordinate end‑to‑end transformation, equity, and skills development administration to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant data flow across business units.
- Maintain up‑to‑date systems, registers, and evidence repositories to enable efficient reporting, audit readiness, and decision making.
- Analyse performance indicators and scorecard inputs, highlighting trends, risks, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities for element owners.
- Prepare recurring dashboards, reports, and performance packs that consolidate verified data, progress updates, and required corrective actions.
- Facilitate implementation of annual transformation and equity plans by coordinating submissions, deadlines, communication activities, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Administer audit and verification activities by collating evidence, quality‑checking submissions, managing project plans, and supporting follow‑up queries.
- Coordinate learning and skills development processes, ensuring learner onboarding, documentation, attendance tracking, expenditure monitoring, and compliance to standards.
- Support cross‑functional stakeholders, suppliers, and partners by responding to queries, organising working sessions, and enabling effective delivery of transformation requirements.
BBB-EE Transformation Support
Operational Coordination
- Coordinate the end-to-end administration of BBB-EE activities across all elements, ensuring accurate and timeous data flow between business units
- Maintain and update all BBB-EE systems, registers and dashboards to ensure up-to-date information for reporting and decision making.
- Track progress against annual BBB-EE targets and proactively flag gaps, risks, and data inconsistencies to the Transformation Manager.
BBB-EE Data & Document Management
- Manage the collection, validation and filing of all supporting documents required for each BBB-EE element.
- Maintain secure document repositories for supplier affidavits, training records, employment equity documents and internal submissions to support BBB-EE compliance.
BBB-EE Analytics, Reporting & Scorecard Coordination
- Monitor, analyse and evaluate monthly performance per BBB-EE element and consolidate into a monthly dashboard.
- Update BBB-EE scorecard calculations based on new inputs, compliance requirements and verified data.
- Generate monthly and quarterly BB-EE performance packs for Element Owners, including trends, variances, and corrective actions required.
- Support the drafting of BBB-EE strategy presentations, progress updates and executive reporting.
- Track all BBB-EE compliance deadlines: submission dates, audit timelines, evidence collection milestones.
BBB-EE Planning & Implementation Support
- Coordinate the roll‑out of BBB-EE communication plans, awareness campaigns and employee education initiatives.
- Support the execution of annual BBB-EE plans by ensuring each element owner submits required data and evidence within agreed timelines.
- Track implementation of BBB-EE actions across units and compile progress check‑ins for leadership.
BBB-EE Verification Audit Coordination
- Manage the detailed project plan for the annual BBB-EE verification process, including timelines, responsibilities, and dependencies.
- Collate, organise and quality‑check all BBB-EE evidence submitted by element managers before sharing with the verification agency.
- Prepare BBB-EE verification packs, schedules and supporting documentation for all elements.
- Support the BBB=EE Transformation specialist in coordinating queries, follow‑ups, meeting logistics and evidence updates as required by the BBB-EE verification agency
Employment Equity Committee Coordination
- Coordinate all administrative and operational activities of the Employment Equity Committee including meeting logistics, agendas, minutes and follow‑ups.
- Ensure regular data collection, analysis and preparation of EE statistics for meetings and compliance submissions.
- Support BBB-EE Transformation Specialist in the delivery of Employment Equity Training, ensuring attendance registers, content, and feedback are documented.
- Maintain all Employment Equity evidence files required for Department of Employment and Labour inspections and annual reporting.
Skills Development & Learning Coordination (BBB-EE Skills Development Element)
- Coordinate the full administration of learning initiatives supporting the Skills Development scorecard as required by BBB-EE legislation
- Manage learner onboarding, registration documentation, training schedules and attendance tracking.
- Consolidate evidence for all learning interventions according to the BBB-EE Learning Programme Matrix, including:
- Learnerships
- Bursaries (internal & external)
- Study assistance
- AET programmes
- Short courses
- Ensure timeous capturing of all learner data on the BBB-EE reporting toolkit.
- Maintain an up‑to‑date training expenditure tracker aligned to the annual Skills Development Plan and BBB-EE targets.
- Manage invoice administration end‑to‑end to ensure BBB-EE compliance with finance processes and supplier SLAs.
Preferential Procurement Administration
- Maintain the procurement evidence file including affidavits, certificates, supplier declarations and procurement spend data in line with BBB-EE prescripts.
- Track supplier BBB-EE credentials expiry dates and coordinate with the procurement team on proactive renewal requests.
- Validate supplier classification against SANAS and BBB-EE requirements before submission to the verification agency.
Stakeholder Coordination & Support
- Serve as the first point of contact for BBB-EE related queries from employees, managers, suppliers and external partners.
- Coordinate cross functional BBB-EE working sessions with element managers to resolve data gaps or compliance risks
- Support transformation initiatives, events and campaigns across the organisation.
What We’re Looking For
- 3–4 years’ experience in BBBEE, Employment Equity & Skills Development in the private sector
- Strong understanding of BBBEE Codes, SD & EE legislation
- National Diploma in HR, Finance or related field
- Advanced Excel & MS Office capability
- Excellent communication, presentation & stakeholder engagement skills
- High attention to detail, ethics and data accuracy
