Job Description

Leads the prepaid broadband portfolio with accountability for driving P&L performance, subscriber growth, and market share within the prepaid segment. Develops and executes the multi-year strategy, recommends pricing and investment decisions, and drives product innovation to improve GSR and ARPU. Provides the final, data-backed recommendation to the Brand Portfolio Head on segment priorities, ensuring alignment with overall broadband business goals. Manages a team of specialists and cross-functional squads to deliver execution excellence.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Portfolio Strategy & Segment Leadership

  • Define and steer the long-term prepaid broadband strategy, aligning portfolio design with customer needs, competitive landscape, and business objectives.

  • Shape the innovation pipeline to ensure prepaid broadband solutions are future-ready, affordable, and digitally enabled.

  • Translates broadband business goals into actionable prepaid roadmaps with clear priorities and success measures for each vertical
     

2. Product & Lifecycle Management

  • Owns the end-to-end lifecycle of prepaid broadband offers — from launch and enhancement to retirement — ensuring product-market fit and alignment with business goals.

  • Partners with product, IT, and vendor teams to deliver builds, features, and process improvements, challenging solutions where needed to ensure they meet business requirements.
     

3. Pricing & Profitability

  • Establish pricing guardrails and recommend offers and campaigns that balance competitiveness with revenue and margin goals.

  • Monitor ARPU, reload rate, and usage behavior, recommending optimizations to improve profitability.
     

4. Go-to-Market & Campaign Leadership

  • Defines the strategic GTM approach for prepaid broadband launches, promos, and campaigns, ensuring speed-to-market and compelling value propositions.

  • Aligns execution pillars (channel engagement, digital, base management) on objectives, messaging, and success metrics.

  • Sets the guardrails and oversees execution progress, leaving day-to-day campaign management to other verticals.

5. Performance Monitoring & Growth Optimization

  • Governs prepaid KPIs (GSR, ARPU, subscriber base) and delivers insight-led recommendations for growth acceleration or course correction.

  • Equips execution teams with clear performance targets and insights, while escalating structural adjustments when required to maintain competitiveness.

6. Cross-Functional & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Acts as the integrator across squads, finance, network, sales, and digital teams to ensure seamless alignment and delivery of strategic initiatives.

  • Represents the prepaid broadband segment in senior leadership forums and provides final, data-backed recommendations to the Broadband Portfolio Head for key decisions.

7. People Leadership & Capability

  • Lead and coach a team of managers, building deep expertise in prepaid customer lifecycle and broadband marketing.

  • Foster a culture of agility, innovation, and accountability within the prepaid team.

KPIs:

1. Business & Financial Outcomes (50%)

  • GSR (Gross Service Revenue) Growth – YoY % growth of prepaid broadband revenue.

  • Subscriber Base Health – Net adds / churn rate, with focus on active user base growth.

  • ARPU Optimization – Improvement in ARPU (via upsell, cross-sell, price laddering).
    Profitability / Margin Contribution – Achievement of portfolio margin targets within agreed guardrails.

2. Portfolio Profitability, Innovation & Lifecycle (20%)

  • Strategic Roadmap Delivery – % of key initiatives delivered on time and within scope.

  • Offer Adoption & Refresh Rate – % of active base migrated to new or optimized offers.

  • Launch Effectiveness – #/% of offers hitting first-3-month adoption and revenue targets.

  • Pricing Guardrail Adherence – Maintains competitiveness and profitability targets.

  • Cross-Functional Alignment in GTM – % of initiatives launched on time without major rework caused by misalignment with channels, digital, or base management teams.
     

3. Customer Experience & Market Competitiveness (20%)

  • Net Promoter Score (NPS) – YoY improvement in prepaid broadband NPS.

  • Price Competitiveness Index – Maintains competitive price position in the market.

  • Perceived Value Score – Improvement in value perception based on research or internal tracker.

4. People & Capability Leadership (10%)

  • Team Engagement & Retention – Improvement in team engagement scores and retention rates.
    Capability Uplift – Demonstrable growth of team skills (prepaid lifecycle expertise, analytics, pricing).

Annual Prepaid Broadband Portfolio Roadmap: Comprehensive strategy and 12–24 month roadmap covering new offers, pricing guardrails, and lifecycle management plans.

Major Portfolio Launches & Refreshes: Successful introduction of key prepaid broadband promos, bundles, or innovations (per roadmap) with clear adoption and revenue targets.

Pricing & Profitability Framework: Updated pricing structure and profitability guardrails that sustain competitive positioning while protecting margins.

Performance & Insights Dashboard: Regular portfolio health reviews, including forward-looking recommendations for growth acceleration or course correction.
