Job Description:

We are looking for a BaSE Specialist to join our Maintenance team at our Barcelona facilities.

As part of our organization, you will work under the coordination of the Supervisor and play a key role in ensuring the reliability and safety of our automated and electromechanical sorting systems. Your mission will be to maintain the highest standards of operational performance, minimize downtime, and guarantee a safe working environment across our facilities.

What will your day-to-day look like?

  • Ensure facility safety and promptly report any anomalies.
  • Organize and execute preventive and corrective maintenance on automated and electromechanical sorting systems.
  • Diagnose issues, identify root causes, and ensure timely service recovery.
  • Prepare detailed maintenance reports and manage tasks through CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
  • Control and optimize spare parts inventory.
  • Support and coordinate the maintenance technician team.
  • Monitor work orders and follow up on ongoing projects.

What do we expect from you?

  • Higher vocational qualification in Electrical, Automation, or related fields. Additional studies or certifications in related areas will also be considered.
  • Demonstrable experience in industrial maintenance (mechanical and electrical systems, conveyor belts, welding, etc.).
  • Intermediate-advanced level of English required.
  • Fluent in Spanish.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Outlook, and the Windows environment, reporting and automation IT skills.
  • Knowledge of electrical diagrams and CMMS systems.
  • Strong organizational skills for stock management and project follow-up.
  • Ability to lead and coordinate personnel effectively.
  • Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work shifts Monday to Friday.
  • Commitment to workplace safety.
