Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens opened in March 2019 and provides a preferred address for both business and leisure travelers, and the highly personalized, anticipatory service that Four Seasons guests expect and value around the world. The Arion Hotel was built in 1967 and has 106 keys and 61 Bungalows, and the Nafsika opened in 1980 and has 136 keys. Under the same ownership is a large private beach club and marina. Nafsika is open through the year, while Arion and the bungalows operate eight months of the year. Adding to the complement of on-site F&B operations (8 Restaurants and Bars), there are also two third party restaurants on site.

About the Role 
At Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens (ranked No. 17 in the World’s 50 Best Hotels), we are seeking a highly engaged Bartender to join our Mercato Restaurant team as a Bartender for the Season 2026. You will create authentic, high-quality beverages, enhance the all-day dining experience, and support seamless service from breakfast through dinner. 

What You Will Do 

  • Prepare and serve cocktails, wines, and other beverages according to the restaurant’s standards. 

  • Describe drinks and menu items to guests in an engaging and knowledgeable manner. 

  • Anticipate guest needs, respond to special requests, and ensure timely delivery of all orders. 

  • Break down, clean, and set up the bar area and maintain stock. 

  • Operate point-of-sale system, handle cash floats, and manage bar requisitions. 

  • Collaborate with stewarding, culinary, and housekeeping teams. 

  • Follow safety, hygiene, and F&B procedures; respond to hotel emergencies. 

  • Assist with service across different hotel outlets, events, and in-room dining as required. 

What You Bring 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience. 

  • European Passport or legal right to work in Greece. 

  • Previous luxury or high-volume bar experience is an advantage. 

  • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail. 

  • Fluency in English; Greek is an advantage. 

  • Food handling and sanitation certification is a plus.

Schedule & Hours
