About the location:

Stay in for the quiet nights with 24-hour room service, savour locally sourced ingredients prepared by classically trained chefs, slip into bliss with handcrafted cocktails at EDGE Restaurant & Bar or unwind at our spa with a selection of rejuvenating treatments.BASIC PURPOSE: Serve guest needs by providing exceptional knowledge of wine spirits and mixed drinks as well as information regarding preparation methods.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks from the menu while ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to established recipes and established Four Seasons Standards.
2. Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests from the lounge server using the hotel’s point-of-sales system; check completed orders with the guest’s original order.
3. Service and take orders from guests seated at the bar area offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods; maintain a working knowledge of liquors, wines, beets, ports, armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs and specialty drinks.
4. Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
5. Properly and accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card payments; properly settle voided checks or complimentary items.
6. Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
7. Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Serve food items in the bar area.
2. Assist with bar inventory.
3. Cut fruit and prepare beverage garnishments.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Education: High school education or equivalent experience.
Experience: Minimum two years bartending or related work.
Skills and Abilities: Ability to pour, mix, and blend a wide variety, of wines, spirits, and missed drinks.
Ability to accurately process cash and credit card transactions.
