Step into the spotlight at The Onyx Bar & Lounge where curated cocktails, and elevated vibes set the stage every night. We’re looking for a dynamic, hands-on Bar & Lounge Assistant Manager to lead the energy, orchestrate the flow, and deliver unforgettable luxury-level guest experiences.
What you will do
Lead the Show – Oversee daily bar and lounge operations from open to close. Command the floor, set the pace, and ensure every detail reflects our elevated brand standards.
Elevate the Experience – Be the face of hospitality. Build genuine relationships with guests, anticipate VIP needs, resolve challenges with grace, and turn first-time visitors into loyal regulars.
Inspire the Team – Coach, mentor, and energize our Front of House team. Lead impactful pre-shift meetings, spotlight daily goals, and create a culture where service excellence thrives.
Master the Flow – Manage reservations, seating strategy, and service pacing to keep the lounge buzzing seamlessly. Maintain a pristine, polished atmosphere that matches our upscale vibe.
Drive Performance – Oversee F&B purchasing and inventory controls with precision. Support labor management and budget goals while keeping quality uncompromised.
What you bring
Hospitality degree preferred
Previous experience in managing 5 star hotel restaurants
A flair for creativity and entrepreneurship
Proven record of building strong relationships with team members, patrons and managers
Outstanding communication and presentation skills
Sense of style, flair, eye for detail and creative
Passionate Food & Beverage operator, following the current trends

Schedule & Hours
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced luxury environment with flexibility for weekends, holidays, and varied schedules.
This position is at a managerial level, you will be expected to work the hours necessary for the successful completion of your objectives, without receiving overtime pay.
Hours of operation - Monday – Thursday: 5pm – 10pm / Friday – Sunday: 1pm – 11pm
Candidates must have valid work authorization for the U.S.
