Rothschild & Co Wealth Management has a Banking Services team located in Guernsey which provides banking services to our clients who are resident worldwide.
The Banking Services Team
The Banking Services team is responsible for the provision of banking services to private clients and their trust and company structures. This includes current, fixed deposit and notice accounts, Visa cards, a range of payment services, mobile and internet banking and foreign exchange services.
Overview of Role
We are seeking a Banking Services Administrator to support the Banking Services team in Guernsey.
Key Responsibilities
Data management
Key point of contact for resolving client data issues
Client static data changes, including taking the lead on mass static data amendments, such as regulatory remedial exercises
Identifying and escalating any potential data anomalies
Ensuring that all changes are made with the highest levels of accuracy within acceptable timeframes
Statements and Reporting
Ensuring that periodic statements are sent within agreed timeframes
Preparing interest certificates upon request
Payments & FX
Payment / FX initiation and general process support, which may include client call-backs to verify instructions
Reviews
Assist with periodic reviews which may include obtaining documents directly from clients
Digital Banking and Card Services
Provide digital banking support to account executives
Provide VISA card support to account executives
Product Support
Account openings, closures and ongoing maintenance
Fixed and notice deposit maturity management
Interest rate amendments
General query management
Problem solving
Responding quickly to escalated issues where delays could incur cost, reputational or regulatory risk
Critical and objecting thinking during the analysis of problems and determining their root cause

Skills and Experience Required
Experience
Two years financial services industry experience would be beneficial
