The Opportunity
As part of the Functional and Industry Technologies team you are expected to focus on payment cards, merchant services, commercial payments, transaction banking, or payment hub solutions. As a Senior Associate, you are to analyze complex problems, mentor others, and maintain rigorous standards. You are responsible for understanding transaction life cycles of payment products and solutions, financial operations, and data and payment systems interactions.
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex payment product life cycles
- Mentor and guide junior team members
- Maintain top-quality standards in every deliverable
- Understand financial operations and data interactions
- Provide insights on payment systems
- Build and sustain client relationships
- Develop a thorough understanding of payment solutions
- Utilize firm methodologies and technology resources
What You Must Have
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2 years of experience
- 3+ years of experience in payments or financial technology product management or solution development role(s)
What Sets You Apart
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of product and solution focusing on payment cards, merchant services, commercial payments, transaction banking, or payment hub solutions
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of payment processing and financial services
- Transaction life cycles of payment products and solutions
- Financial operations, including settlement operations, reconciliation, and exception processing
- Operations and administration of Financial Services businesses
- Data and payment systems interactions including IT tools and technology
- Documentation and the identification of key controls within payment transaction lifecycles
- Participating in client discussions and meetings actively
- Communicating a broad range of offered consulting services
- Managing workstream(s) or small team engagements
- Preparing concise, accurate documents
- Utilizing PC applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
- Maintaining project economics while maintaining flexibility for unanticipated issues
- Creating a positive environment
- Monitoring workloads of the team while meeting client expectations
- Respecting the work-life quality of team members
- Providing candid, meaningful feedback in a timely manner
- Keeping leadership informed of progress and issues
- Answering questions and providing direction to less experienced staff
- Developing, writing, presenting and facilitating discussions on strategy to various levels of industry audiences

The salary range for this position is: $77,000 - $202,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
