Banking and Client Payroll Consultant

Join RemServ in a role that blends banking operations, payroll expertise and client partnership. As a Banking & Client Payroll Consultant, you’ll play a critical role provide technical support for internal staff and employer payrolls in relation to deposit, payment and payroll reporting matters.

You’ll manage daily incoming and outgoing payments through RemServ’s trust accounts, complete reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and maintain client payroll accounts. Acting as a key point of contact for employer payroll and finance teams, you’ll respond to enquiries, provide reporting, and offer practical solutions to ensure smooth payroll outcomes.

This role suits someone who enjoys working to daily deadlines, solving problems, and building strong relationships while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing and reconciling daily banking transactions and reimbursements

  • Investigating and resolving payment discrepancies and payroll issues

  • Supporting employer payroll teams with deposits, payments and reporting

  • Producing regular banking and payroll reports for internal and external stakeholders

  • Contributing to continuous improvement and system testing initiatives

About You:

  • Customer-focused with strong stakeholder engagement

  • Ability to meet tight daily deadlines in a collaborative team environment

  • Knowledge of payroll, banking, and/or reconciliation processes

  • Intermediate Excel skills and strong attention to detail

  • Experience with salary packaging or FBT is highly regarded but not essential
