Position Summary:

The Private Banker is responsible for delivering a high-touch and superior service experience to a portfolio of affluent clientele who have a minimum of $3MM in liquid/investable assets. As the main point of contact for the client, the Banker’s primary responsibility is to adopt a proactive and disciplined approach to expanding and retaining existing relationships and acquiring new affluent clients

The Banker facilitates efficient and accurate interactions between the client and investing business partners. The Banker also partners with the Investment Advisor to capture a greater share of client wallet, working the exact same book of business together.

The Banker reports to the Regional Director.

Position Duties / Responsibilities:

• Develop, manage, and retain client relationships with high net worth individuals. As part of a Regional Team, participates in the Bank’s private banking efforts throughout Mexico, Venezuela, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, or other countries in Latin America. Services provided to these clients include: banking, credit, asset and risk management.

• Analyze various investment opportunities in order to establish and maintain High Net Worth client relationships.  

• Work both with existing clients and with potential new clients in order to grow existing Assets Under Management and to establish new relationships

• Review and analyze corporate financial reports, statements of profits and earnings, statements of past earnings, and other financial data in order to reach preliminary conclusions regarding investment possibilities. Based on these analyses, prepare reports setting forth the background, competitive positions, analyses of profits and outlooks, financial health and structure, valuation, liquidity and timing of various companies.  

• Provide clients with up-to-the minute investment information and responsible for carrying out their clients’ investment decisions. Offers in-depth knowledge of investment products and services offered include asset and risk management, banking, credit, and trusts.

• Works closely with Private Wealth, Products and Compliance areas to develop sales strategies for target clients and markets and ensures that cross business synergies are developed.

Other duties as assigned or requested by immediate supervisor

Specialized Knowledge:

• Knowledge of modeling techniques and financial analysis

• Strong knowledge of Banking and Regulatory Documentation requirements.

• Knowledge of domestic and foreign securities markets and products.

• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to clients and other employees of the organization. 

Education:

Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience 

Business Experience:

5-7 years of relevant experience or demonstrated required level of proficiency  

Technical Knowledge:

Strong sales and marketing skills.
Excellent corporate work ethics.
Possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills with ability to proactively identify address and mitigate potential problems

Languages:

English and Spanish, required.   

What Else You Need To Know:

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

Base Pay Range:

Minimum:

$112,500.00 USD

Maximum:

$190,000.00 USD
