The role:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated and experienced Bank Oncology Pharmacist to join Springfield Hospital. The successful Oncology Pharmacist will be expected to take ownership of the service and to work closely with the Pharmacy Manager to deliver excellent levels of service to patients.
As the Oncology Pharmacist, you will work within a team of Pharmacists and Technicians providing clinical, technical and prescribing support to the hospital.
Where you'll be based:
Springfield Hospital is conveniently located on the outskirts of Chelmsford with plenty of free parking onsite. The hospital has an excellent reputation for delivering high quality healthcare for patients who are self-funding treatment, patients with health insurance, or NHS patients exercising choice through the e-referral system.
What you will bring with you:
Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or band 7 equivalent in Pharmacy
Keen interest in oncology and desire to work within this field
5 years’ experience in industry
Member of GPhC (General Pharmaceutical Council) with current registration
Sound written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
