Position Summary: The Roof Truss Bander’s primary responsibility is to band bundles of roof trusses for Clayton Home Building Facilities.
Duties / Responsibilities:
Bander must be able to correctly place band boards and bands to ensure trusses are tightly banded.
Safely operate bander machine.
Cut band boards to size.
Band trusses together in timely manner.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent; or equivalent experience.
Must be able to read a tape measurer.
Must have a passion for quality and be naturally attentive to details.
Must be reliable and able to work at an efficient pace.
Demonstrates honesty and integrity. Has a strong work ethic. Displays a great attitude and models teamwork.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift and/or carry over 20 lbs.
Must be able to effectively verbally communicate and exchange information with others.
Work is primarily completed by standing or walking, and may require bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching in hot and cold conditions.
