Job Title: Balloon Specialist
Department: Warehouse
FLSA: Non-Exempt
General Function
The balloon specialist utilizes good customer service, organizational, and time-management skills in scheduling and receiving of incoming product, selecting orders, shipping outgoing orders to customers, and in the production of air inflated balloons. Hours of operation are seven days a week. Specific scheduling for this position will be discussed during the interview process and will adjust based on the fluctuation of business and holidays.
Reporting Relations
Accountable and Reports to: General Manager
Positions that Report to you: None
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Select, pack, ship, and bill orders to customers in an efficient, cost-effective, and timely manner.
Unload product from inbound carriers and receiving inventory to stock.
Maintain inventory accuracy, conduct inventory counts, and proper slotting of product.
Assist customers with sales and handles questions about product and orders.
Assist in the production of air inflated balloons.
Performs duties in a timely manner.
Reports to work when scheduled and on time; works evenings and weekends as needed.
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:
Enter information about packages into a manifest and labeling program.
Reconcile delivery manifest to billing statements.
Restock packaging supplies and materials as needed.
Perform miscellaneous other duties as necessary.

Must have the ability to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions.
Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers.
Must be able to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
Other duties may be asked of this position due to fluctuating business, must possess the ability to adapt to change and be versatile depending on the situation and seasonal activities.
Education and Experience:
High school or equivalent experience.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to physically perform light to moderate work: exerting/lifting 5 - 30 lbs of force frequently.
Must be able to perform the following physical activities: climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
Working Conditions:
The duties of this position are performed in a warehouse setting. There is frequent exposure to noise and continual exposure to warehouse temperature changes.
Equipment Used To Perform Job:
PC with Excel and warehouse and shipping system, fax, scanner, labeler, box cutter, stapler, ladder, cart, pallet jack, packaging equipment, variable height selecting machinery, Fed Ex shipping program.

Has daily contact with employees, customers, suppliers/vendors, and the general public.
