Summary:
The Bakery Mentor is a former bakery trainee who has successfully completed the bakery vocational training program. This position will work as a member of the vocational rehabilitation team and is responsible for working one on one assisting an established bakery trainee as they enhance work skills. The Bakery Mentor reports directly to the Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor (VRC).Wage Information:
$8.50 - $9.50 per hour.Job Description:
Directly communicate the Trainee's daily job performance to the VRC for progress documentation.
Provide assistance and support to the Trainee as they acquire new task procedures within the Bakery.
Demonstrate and model program, food, and work safety policies/practices to assist and support the Trainee's learning.
Encourage the development of appropriate interpersonal skills in the Trainee.

This position requires one of the following combinations of education and experience:
The Mentor must be a former Bakery Trainee who successfully completed the bakery
program and demonstrated:

● Coping skills
● Ability to produce quality products at a reasonable pace
● Positive work attitude
● Punctuality and maintenance of a work schedule
● Focus on work and full completion of assigned tasks
