The Arion Hotel was built in 1967 and has 106 keys and 61 Bungalows, and the Nafsika opened in 1980 and has 136 keys. Under the same ownership is a large private beach club and marina. Nafsika is open through the year, while Arion and the bungalows operate eight months of the year. Adding to the complement of on-site F&B operations (8 Restaurants and Bars), there are also two third party restaurants on site.About the role:
At Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens (ranked No. 17 in the World’s 50 Best Hotels), we are seeking a skilled Chef de Partie – Baker to join our Kitchen Department for the Season 2026 (minimum 6 or 7 months contract). This role is key in preparing, baking, and supervising the production of high-quality breads, pastries, and viennoiserie, while supporting the Pastry team and ensuring smooth daily operations in the bakery section.
What You Will Do
Prepare and bake all bakery items including croissants, Danish pastries, breads, and other baked goods, following Four Seasons standards and recipes. Ensure proper mise-en-place for all doughs such as puff pastry and short paste. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with H.A.C.C.P. standards. Train and supervise junior pastry staff in bakery techniques and processes. Communicate closely with the Pastry team and liaise with the Main Kitchen, Restaurant, Room Service, and Banqueting as needed. Assist with inventory management, requisitions, and ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained. Participate in improving bakery products and introducing new methods under the guidance of the Assistant Pastry Chef.
