Position Overview: The Badging Coordinator is responsible for managing the process of issuing and renewing identification badges for employees, contractors, and authorized personnel within the aviation ground handling operations. This role ensures compliance with security regulations and maintains accurate records of badge issuance and access control.

Job Responsibilities
Manage the application, issuance, and renewal of employee and contractor badges in accordance with airport and security regulations.
Verify eligibility and conduct background checks for badge applicants to ensure compliance with TSA, FAA, and other regulatory agencies.
Maintain accurate records of badge status, access privileges, and expiration dates.
Coordinate with airport authorities and security personnel to ensure proper access control and resolve any badge-related issues.
Assist with security audits, access reviews, and ensure compliance with airport security protocols.
Provide customer service and support to personnel regarding badge inquiries and issues.

Attend training courses as may be required by AGI.
Qualifications and Skills
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in security management, HR, or a related field preferred.
If work location is in the United States, must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986. If work location is in Canada, must have authorization to work in Canada as defined by the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) of 2001.
Experience: 2+ years in security coordination, human resources, or aviation operations.
Skills: Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills; proficiency in using badge management systems.
Knowledge: Understanding of airport security procedures and regulatory requirements (e.g., TSA, FAA).
