Why this role matters
We are looking for an experienced Backend Software Engineer to join our Exness team.
The role will be focused on implementing complex, high-load solutions in integration with CRM Marketing Automation platform. We have internal products: an Admin panel for managing notification templates, Banners as a marketing channel inside the personal area, a Campaign management platform, and data delivery pipelines. This provides capabilities for the CRM marketing department.

The role is based in our office in Limassol, Cyprus. In case of relocation, we offer full relocation support for you and your family to make your move smooth and worry-free.

What you'll actually do
  • Consistently deliver core product features that meet functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Write clean, secure, efficient code, perform thorough testing and debugging, and ensure seamless integration with other components while optimizing for scalability and addressing technical debt.
  • Write well-documented code and automation tests with strong coverage. Improve testing practices across the team.
  • Conduct code reviews, offer constructive feedback, and maintain documentation that meets company standards. Constantly work to improve code quality.
  • Support and maintenance of existing products
  • Tackle complex architectural and performance problems.
  • Drive improvements to service latency, fault tolerance, and resilience in high-load environments.
  • Drive architecture discussions and influence technical decisions not only within the team but also across the department
  • Prepare clear technical documentation and contribute to internal knowledge bases.
  • Promote and apply clean code principles and best engineering practices.
  • Automate repetitive tasks and contribute to performance optimizations.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and advocate for beneficial adoption.
  • Participate in technical interviews, share knowledge with peers, and contribute to improving team processes and standards.
  • Suggest and drive technical improvements.
  • Support onboarding and ongoing growth of team members.

Who we’re looking for

  • 5+ years of backend software development.
  • Preferred: Commercial experience with Python,  Go (advantage)
  • Experience with projects using asyncio, aiohttp, fastAPI
  • Good experience with PostgreSQL
  • Solid experience with ORM and DBMS, including database architecting
  • Experience acting as a code reviewer.
  • Experience with high-load, concurrency, and multithreading backend systems.
  • Microservice development experience.
  • Preferred: Experience in financial/market-based software development or distributed systems
  • A passion for building a trading product that brings the world together
  • Higher education in STEM
  • Solid knowledge of general computer science and working experience with various system designs and integrational patterns
  • Cultivate DevOps culture and usage of relevant tools–solid experience with operating systems, networking models, virtualization, and containerization
  • Cover your software by unit tests, having experience in integrational and load tests
  • Ability to use English for different work & business purposes
