🚀 B2C Ecommerce Manager – Marketplaces | Mexico

This role is critical to leading, expanding, and optimizing the B2C channel in Mexico, with a strategic focus on negotiating and managing the country’s most relevant e‑commerce marketplaces.

The position is responsible for defining and executing the digital commercial strategy, driving the performance of strategic marketplace partnerships, optimizing portfolio, pricing, and promotions, and ensuring profitability and operational excellence across sales, inventory, and fulfillment. Its impact is directly tied to the sustainable and profitable growth of the business.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the B2C commercial strategy in Mexico.

  • Identify, negotiate, and onboard strategic e‑commerce marketplaces nationwide.

  • Set sales, margin, and market share targets by platform.

  • Manage the end‑to‑end product portfolio across all marketplaces.

  • Design and manage pricing, promotions, and discount strategies.

  • Lead commercial processes

  • Define and manage the responsibilities and activities of the teams under this function.

  • Monitor and optimize key KPIs such as GMV, gross margin, conversion rate, average ticket, inventory turnover, and returns.

  • Analyze channel profitability, including commissions, logistics costs, and digital marketing investments.

  • Coordinate with Supply Chain to ensure inventory availability and service levels (OTIF).

  • Develop dashboards and KPIs to enable data‑driven decision‑making.

  • Design action plans to grow market share and manage operational and commercial exceptions.

🎓 Profile

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or specialization in Digital Commerce or Commercial Management is a plus.

Experience:

  • + 5 years of experience in B2C sales and/or marketplace management in Mexico.

  • Proven experience opening and developing e‑commerce accounts.

  • Experience managing commercial P&L and profitability analysis.

  • Strong understanding of e‑commerce cost structures.

  • Demonstrated experience in commercial negotiations with digital platforms.
