A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As the Regional E‑commerce Manager for the Americas, you play a mission‑critical role in rolling out and growing Atotech Connect and POSS (AI‑powered Purchase Order System) across the region. You will drive digital customer adoption, accelerate the shift from traditional to online ordering, and ensure our digital sales channels deliver an exceptional user experience.
You will collaborate closely with Sales, IT, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing and the global Digital Sales organization (located across the globe: Amsterdam, Berlin, Guanghzou, Bangkok) to shape how customers interact with MKS in the future.
You Will Make an Impact By:
Regional Leadership & Ownership
Lead E‑commerce and POSS for all Americas markets (U.S., Canada, Mexico, Brazil) with limited P&L responsibility.
Act as Product Owner for regional digital sales platforms — driving requirements, roadmap inputs, and prioritization.
Represent the Americas in the global digital sales and operations (supply chain) community, supporting the unified global E‑commerce vision.
Market Rollout & Customer Onboarding
Own the full launch lifecycle for Atotech Connect and POSS in the Americas:
Build and lead local champion teams (sales, operations, finance, etc.).
Collect and validate business requirements with local stakeholders.
Review and confirm functional designs, including local order process needs (surcharges, documents, compliance).
Manage UAT, staff training, pilot onboarding, go‑live and post‑launch feedback loops.
Act as regional change manager — helping internal teams and customers transition to digital workflows.
Performance & Growth
Drive and track key KPIs such as:
Customer onboarding rates
Order volume & penetration%
Digital revenue & AOV
Customer loyalty & satisfaction (CSAT/NPS)
Analyze customer data and buying behavior to improve UX, conversion and repeat usage.
Build regional GTM approaches with Sales to accelerate digital channel growth.
Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement
Lead regional improvements to digital processes and ways of working — from data readiness to service workflows.
Partner with developers, IT, data teams and global peers to build and deploy new features.
Build scalable enablement materials (localized training, manuals, one‑pagers).
Facilitate weekly / bi‑weekly champion meetings and communicate progress across stakeholders.
Leadership & Collaboration
Operate as a digital advocate and cross‑functional influencer.
Mentor local teams in agile methodologies and digital best practices.
Support the Director in building regional digital capabilities over time.
Skills You Bring:
University degree in business, digital commerce, marketing, data/analytics or equivalent.
8+ years of experience leading E‑commerce Marketing / Digital Sales role.
B2B experience preferred
B2C experience if experience has been tied to commercial outcomes such as ownership of revenue-driving KPIs such as P&L, sales/GMV growth, and conversion performance.
Able to connect platform/technology capabilities to business results, translate local market requirements into a customer-ready experience, and partner cross-functionally with Sales/Account Management, Order Management, and Supply Chain to onboard customers and scale programs from the ground up.
Strong understanding of E‑commerce technologies, platforms and CRM / customer service tools.
Fluent English (written and spoken).
Strong commercial acumen, analytical mindset, and solid stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven experience driving digital adoption, onboarding, and platform growth.
Exposure to product ownership, agile development frameworks, and roadmap definition.
Experience with B2B UX optimization and buyer journey improvement initiatives.
Ability to work independently, with strong ownership and problem‑solving mentality.
Experience scaling digital solutions across multiple countries or cultures.
Negotiation skills and comfort working with multi‑cultural teams across the Americas.
P&L exposure is a strong plus.
