Reports To: Manager, B2B Performance & Analytics
The B2B Commercial Analyst supports the B2B Commercial organization by delivering accurate and actionable sales, market, and performance reporting. This role provides analytical insights to sales teams and customers, evaluates business unit performance, and leverages advanced data tools to optimize pipeline management, grow gallons, and strengthen commercial execution. The analyst also develops dashboards, supports quarterly reviews, and delivers strategic insights to Commercial Leadership.
- Develop recurring and ad hoc sales and market reports to support field sales teams and customers.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that improve sales strategy and customer engagement.
- Analyze business unit performance, including volume, margin, retention, and pipeline effectiveness.
- Maintain dashboards, scorecards, and KPI reports used in quarterly reviews and commercial planning.
- Perform detailed pipeline analysis using Salesforce to evaluate opportunity quality, movement, and conversion.
- Provide insights that improve forecast accuracy and support territory planning and account prioritization.
- Build and manage analytical models and dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, and advanced Excel.
- Leverage AI tools to automate reporting and enhance insight generation.
- Maintain strong data integrity and serve as a subject matter expert for Salesforce reporting.
- Create other reports, tools, and analyses as required by Commercial Leadership to support strategic initiatives and decision-making.
- Supports in validating commercial sales transactional data

- Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, economics, finance, or a related field.
- Experience in a B2B commercial sales, or analytics-focused environment.
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, power queries, and modeling.
- Proficiency with Salesforce reporting tools.
- Experience using Power BI and/or Tableau for visualization and dashboard creation.
- Experience writing SQL queries for data extraction and analysis
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Experience in industrial, energy, logistics, distribution, or similar B2B environments.
- Familiarity with AI-driven analytics and automation tools such as Power Automate
- Strong understanding of B2B sales processes, pipeline management, and CRM best practices.
