How this team supports our mission

Our EMEA Cloud Unified Services Centre brings together consulting, delivery, and deep technical expertise to support partners and end‑customers throughout the entire services lifecycle—from early solution design to successful implementation and handover. Within this, the Infrastructure & Application Modernisation Practice helps organizations modernize and migrate their cloud foundations and applications, improving agility, scalability, and long‑term resilience. About the role

As a Technical Consultant, you will support partners and end‑customers across Germany and EMEA to design, scope, and deliver modern Azure‑based infrastructure and application solutions. You will contribute across the full delivery lifecycle, acting as a trusted technical advisor on complex engagements while helping to shape service offerings and mentor colleagues as the practice continues to grow.

What you’ll do

• Lead technical qualification, discovery, and solution architecture for Azure infrastructure and application modernisation engagements
• Translate business, operational, and technical requirements into secure, scalable Azure architectures
• Design, implement, and validate resilient Azure infrastructure and application modernisation solutions
• Contribute to Statements of Work, scope definitions, delivery assumptions, and effort estimates
• Deliver consulting engagements to a high standard, aligned to agreed scope, timelines, and customer expectations
• Produce high‑quality delivery artefacts, including architecture designs, migration plans, and handover documentation
• Identify and proactively manage delivery risks, dependencies, and opportunities for follow‑on services
• Mentor colleagues and contribute to the development of repeatable services, frameworks, and go‑to‑market propositions

What you bring

• 5+ years’ experience in a technical consulting or engineering role, ideally within cloud or modernisation services
• Strong experience designing and delivering Azure infrastructure and application modernisation solutions
• Solid knowledge of Azure services across infrastructure, networking, security, identity, and application platforms
• Hands‑on experience with migration and modernisation approaches (re‑hosting, re‑platforming, refactoring, cloud‑native design)
• Proven ability to engage directly with customers and translate complex challenges into pragmatic solutions
• Strong communication skills in English and German, with confidence explaining technical concepts to varied audiences
• Experience working collaboratively across multi‑disciplinary and geographically distributed teams
• Willingness to learn, develop, and maintain relevant Microsoft and cloud‑related certifications
