Job Summary

The AWC Trainer Specialist is responsible for business development in the selected regions and accounts by providing product training to HCPs. Is responsible for executing the commercial strategy in the assigned territory, in acute and community settings. He/she will play a key role in all the tender initiatives and activities, working closely with the different regional sales managers.

He/she will see and identify product training needs in the assigned territory and accounts. This role is a field-based position in Madrid and the surrounding areas.


Duties and Responsibilities 

 

Guide less-experienced healthcare professionals and the sales team. Complex training issues/activities.  

 

  • Business development in selected regions and accounts. 

  • Develop and implement tenders’ activities. 

  • Support product inclusion in regional product formularies. 

  • Tender management initiatives and activities in collaboration with RSM 

  • Facilitate training programs, specifically related to ConvaTec products/franchises.  

  • Conduct product training to HCP F2F and remotely. 

  • Develop and implement account plans. 

  • Work with regional technical commission stakeholders to introduce and expand new products usage. 

  • Develop and implement product protocols. 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers, technical commissions, key influencers in his/her region, and accounts. 

  • Develop and implement strategic account plans. 

  • Collaborate with cross functional team such as marketing, finance, SFE, etc. 

  • Collaborate with marketing on product launches and development.  

  • Assessing customer needs and suggesting appropriate products, services, and/or solutions 

 

Travel Requirements 

Travel is expected to be between 60 - 80%. Travel will be predominantly in Spain; occasional international travel may also be required. 

 

Language Skills Required  

  • English: Fluent speaking and writing 

 

About you

  • HCP Degree required 

  • 3+ years’ experience in the health care field as a health care professional. 

  • Master or post-degree related to AWC is a plus. 

  • English is a must. 

  • Must be able to thrive in an ever-changing and fast-paced sales environment. 

  • Ability to work as a team and at the same time be autonomous, with strong organization and management skills for their actions. 

  • Predisposition, confidence, and initiative. That sets the standard and expectations through example in conduct, work ethic, integrity, and character. 

  • Understanding of the sales and tender process and ability to manage the entire training cycle. 

  • Excellent communication skills and facilitation/delivery of training. Strong communication skills are required. 

  • Knowledge of learning principles and modern training techniques. 

  • Have experience working on often demanding and changing time scales. 

  • Digital skills: manage digital tools and platforms.
