Ops Group Description:

Tokyo Investment Operations is consisted by 3 sub-group, ITM Fund Administration, Portfolio Administration and Client Reporting, and handling all operation, accounting and administration on both Japan based ITM fund and Separately Managed Account. Team leverages its experience and knowledge to out of operations task like product development, regulatory reporting and monitoring and several trade generations to support.

Ops Job Description:

We are seeking a Tokyo, Japan based Associate Officer or Assistant Vice President to join Tokyo Investment Operations.

The key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

The officer’s key job responsibilities time will be devoted to production support, where they will be involved in the following activities: 

  • Daily NAV calculation and verification for ITM Funds
  • Distributors management
  • Handle various events related with Funds’ Fiscal Year End, New Fund Launching, Funds’ termination
  • Fund Auditing
  • Shareholders report and financial statement
  • Regulatory filing to Financial Supervisory Agency, Bank of Japan and Investment Trust Association.
  • Analysis and Implementation of new workflow
  • Oversight of outsourcing agent
  • Support for Offshire Fund operations and client communication.

Skills / Experience required

Basic accounting and operational experience in financial industry (nice to have)

  • A strong client focus to ensure the expectations of stakeholders and our clients are met
  • Basic technical skills ((MS EXCEL, WORD, ACCESS…etc)

  • Written and verbal communication skills with fluency in Japanese and basic or business level English language ability.

  • 3 years undergraduate degree preferably in business related discipline
  • 3 years of work experience in a function that has some related financial analysis or use of analytical skills.
  • Skills: Knowledge of multiple asset classes and how they can be used in portfolios and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Special Knowledge (if applicable): The candidate should be able to communicate effectively, work well in a team setting, and be able to effectively handle changes with a positive outlook.
