About This Job
This role will report onsite to our HQ in San Diego, CA.Responsibilities:
Own end-to-end delivery strategy, governance, and outcomes across a portfolio of concurrent technology initiatives, ensuring predictable execution and stakeholder trust.
Translate enterprise objectives into executable delivery roadmaps, timelines, resourcing/capacity assumptions, and milestones across multiple workstreams.
Lead portfolio intake and prioritization; assess initiative complexity, assign/align work to Technical Delivery Managers/Scrum Masters, and remove delivery friction early.
Institutionalize standardized SDLC and delivery frameworks at scale; enforce quality gates, operating cadence, and “single source of truth” delivery hygiene.
Drive delivery predictability programs using measurable performance signals (e.g., throughput/lead time, deployment frequency, change failure rate, recovery time) to improve speed and stability.
Establish and operate executive-ready reporting (scorecards, dashboards, narratives) on project health, risks, dependencies, blockers, and trade-offs; escalate decisively when needed.
Lead and develop a high-performing delivery leadership bench—coaching, mentoring, accountability, and succession planning for TDMs.
Provide cross-functional leadership to align Product, Engineering, QA, Infrastructure, and Project/Program stakeholders on commitments, scope, sequencing, and delivery outcomes.
Proactively identify delivery risks and roadblocks, investigate “stuck” work, implement mitigations/corrective actions, and maintain momentum through ambiguity.
Ensure operational readiness and adoption for new products/processes through structured change management (training, communications, readiness planning).
Maintain formal process documentation and continuous improvement practices (e.g., iGrafx-backed process maps/procedures) to scale consistency and auditability.
Leverage modern delivery tooling and analytics to improve transparency and execution (dashboards, velocity/progress tracking, and data-driven decisioning).
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
5+ years’ experience in managing people.
Demonstrated leadership in technical delivery/program execution across multiple concurrent initiatives, consistently delivering on time, within scope/budget, and to quality standards.
Strong command of SDLC, delivery frameworks, and agile/hybrid operating models (Scrum/Kanban); able to standardize and scale practices across teams.
Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication—able to translate complex technical issues into clear, business-focused narratives and decisions.
Strong risk/issue management, conflict resolution, and escalation judgment; disciplined about identifying pitfalls and driving mitigation plans.
Data-driven delivery management experience—comfortable defining, operationalizing, and improving KPIs/scorecards (including DORA-style throughput and stability metrics).
