Job Description:

Role Summary/Purpose:

Synchrony has an immediate opportunity for a growth driven marketer that can execute client marketing programs and partner with lifecycle and acquisition teams to grow new accounts, purchase volume and provider enrollments in our Specialty and Wellness markets. This role will work with contractual relationships, sales and internal teams to execute consumer and provider marketing strategies working through our client marketing channels. Additionally, it will execute industry level campaign strategies to acquire, activate and grow provider accounts in Specialty and Wellness space. This person would be able to leverage best practices from other teams across the business, be comfortable partnering with industry thought leaders, publishers, clients, and partners to develop and execute content and programs to drive acquisition and growth. 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute B2B and B2B2C integrated marketing campaigns including print, email, direct mail, and digital channels
  • Execute client and industry marketing programs for Specialty & Wellness with a focus on key markets
  • Partner with cross functional teams to identify and execute marketing opportunities that increase conversions and build awareness across Specialty & Wellness markets
  • Collaborate with sales on marketing strategies to prospect, acquire, and grow relationships
  • Manage development of educational online and offline content (webinars, videos, case studies, and white papers) working with KOLs, clients, partners and publishers
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Lifecycle, Acquisition and Marketing Operations to execute cross-functional projects and marketing initiatives
  • Manage educational trade events and sponsorships
  • Innovate and execute offers, pricing and promotions with sales & finance
  • Partner with analytics teams to measure impact, leverage data to drive future campaigns
  • Obtain industry intelligence with research and sales
  • Manage budget including forecasting and tracking
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree OR in lieu of a degree, a high school diploma and 8 years of marketing experience identified below
  • Minimum of 5 years marketing experience that includes innovating and executing comprehensive multi-channel marketing campaigns including email, direct mail and digital channels
  • A minimum of 2 years client-facing experience in a sales, marketing, or business development capacity
  • Ability to travel ~20%
  • Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required

Desired Characteristics:

  • Healthcare and financial services marketing experience strongly preferred
  • Business to business and consumer marketing experience
  • Strong project management experience and experience executing multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Experience managing creative agencies, research, and analytic partners
  • Experience with project management tools like Workfront
  • Proficiency with CRM and email marketing platforms, leveraging marketing automation tools such as Salesforce and Marketing Cloud
  • Strong attention to detail

Grade/Level: 10

                                                                                  

The salary range for this position is 75,000.00 - 130,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

                    

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be 18 years or older

  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles.  Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles.  Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post.  All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
