Role Summary/Purpose:
The principal responsibility of the Regional Account Manager will be to partner with assigned Walmart Regional Vice President leadership team(s) to lead engagement and support of the credit program. This person will work with Sr. client partners to provide a robust strategy and growth mechanisms to grow the credit program.
Role will cover a territory that spans across the following sites: AZ, TX, LA,OK, MS, KS, NM
Essential Responsibilities:
Deliver on SYF and OnePay’s credit program objectives for applications, new accounts and credit sales through the development and execution of initiatives across region(s) in assigned territory.
Monitor partner performance dynamics to develop and support growth strategies and action plans.
Partner with assigned client Sr. field leadership team and drive accountability by supporting their brand, culture and values to deliver on strategic action plans and drive key program performance indicators.
Ability to leverage various internal and external channels to influence partner to achieve growth goals – channels include but are not limited to phone, face to face meetings, co-travel, QBRs, road shows, virtual meetings, grand openings, email and other correspondence.
Help maintain competitive information and optimize how we differentiate vs the competition.
Ability to work effectively in a highly cross functional environment with other departments such as Marketing, IT, Risk, Operations & Training to support business objectives.
Coordinate regular portfolio performance reviews with region & market client leadership at both OnePay and Walmart. Develop methodologies to collect competitive intelligence, changes in market conditions and identification of opportunities to share internally and with client field leadership.
Provide value added analysis & reporting to client partners to evaluate and drive program performance.
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, or 5+ years’ experience working in the retail or financial services industry.
Minimum of 3 years of Field or outside sales experience.
Minimum of 2 years Client Relationship/Development Management experience.
Experience of 2 years working with C-Suite level management or client field leadership teams.
Experience developing presentations and pitching to all levels of management.
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to travel up to 75% of the time in and out of assigned territory
Role must be located within one of the following states: AZ, TX, LA,OK, MS, KS, NM

The salary range for this position is 90,000.00 - 155,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

Eligibility Requirements:
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
