Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Direction

  • Develop and articulate a compelling vision and strategic roadmap for the group, aligned with Mynt’s long-term goals.

  • Define and establish strategic priorities, objectives, and initiatives, taking into account market trends, risks, and industry movements.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and guide the Operations Strategy team to build a high-performance culture.

  • Foster professional growth by creating and sharing materials that strengthen technical, operational, and strategic skills.

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Drive strategic planning cycles within the department, identifying opportunities, risks, and weaknesses in ongoing strategies.

  • Support evaluation and prioritization of initiatives to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

  • Oversee project implementation to ensure timely, on-scope, and high-quality delivery across cross-functional teams.

Stakeholder Engagement & Influence

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leadership, external partners, and industry experts.

  • Drive alignment, support, and advocacy for key transformation initiatives through effective stakeholder communication.

Governance & Operational Excellence

  • Provide oversight of budget utilization, governance processes, and select strategic projects.

  • Promote continuous improvement by embedding best practices, elevating quality of work, and streamlining ways of working.

Business Presentations & Reporting

  • Create clear, concise, and strategic presentations and reports that inform leadership decision-making.

  • Provide insights and actionable recommendations to drive informed and timely decisions.

QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum requirements in terms of experience and background, skills and competencies for sourcing purposes)

  • Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree/master’s degree in a relevant field.

  • Experience: 6-9 years of experience in program and stakeholder management, preferably with exposure to FinTech, Technology, Product Delivery, or Operations.

  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams and stakeholders at all levels, particularly within technical operations.

  • Strategic Planning: Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans, manage complex projects, and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Technical Skills: Knowledge in Business Presentation, Data Analysis and Interpretation, Storytelling and Visualization, Program and Project Management, People and Stakeholder Management, Change Management, Facilitation of Meetings and Workshops.

  • Soft Skills: Presentation, Effective Communication (with the ability to influence and incite action), Building Relationships, Conceptual and Critical Thinking, Business Acumen, Organization and Attention to Detail, Curiosity, Creativity and Resourcefulness in Problem-Solving, Bias for Action, and Quality.
