Lead the future of provider workforce strategy at Baptist Health as the Associate Vice President, Physician and Advanced Provider Recruitment.
We’re seeking a dynamic, enterprise leader to serve as the executive owner of physician and advanced provider recruiting across our system. In this highly visible role, you’ll shape multi-year workforce strategies, advise senior leadership on market trends and access risks, and drive innovative recruiting solutions that support growth across all markets and specialties.
This remote role requires residency in Kentucky or Indiana. Frequent travel to facilities within Kentucky and Southern Indiana will be required.
What You’ll Do:
Design, develop and execute system-wide Physician and Advance Provider recruiting strategy aligned to growth and service line priorities
Develop budgeting and forecasting of workforce trends and needs and developing strategies that mitigate risks
Drive KPI performance (time-to-fill, pipeline strength, cost optimization) and reduce reliance on locums
Oversee a team of recruiters that drive the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a high-touch, best-in-class candidate experience
Own recruitment budget, vendor strategy, and ROI optimization
Ensure compliance across employment, regulatory, and physician immigration programs (J-1, H-1B)
Leverage analytics and market intelligence to inform strategy and executive decision-making
Elevate employer brand and represent Baptist Health nationally
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field. Master's level degree strongly preferred.
7+ years of progressive provider recruiting experience as the top leader for the function for the medical group or system.
5+ years developing goals, metrics, dashboard, reporting for high-performing teams
Proven success driving complex, enterprise-wide recruitment strategies for physicians in a matrix environment
Expertise in workforce planning, analytics, and physician immigration
Executive presence with strong business, financial, and relationship acumen
