Job Description:

Baptist Health is looking for an Associate Vice President, Pharmacy Operations to join our team in the Louisville, KY area! This position will have weekly presence at our Central Pharmacy location in LaGrange, KY.

The Associate Vice President (AVP), Pharmacy Operations of provides expert leadership in the planning, coordination, and direction of operational pharmacy services for the enterprise. This includes, but is not limited to providing safe, effective and efficient delivery of pharmaceutical care.

The AVP, Pharmacy Operations is responsible for the leadership and direction of the operational functions associated with pharmacy services, including central pharmacy operations, ambulatory/infusion operations, oversight of cleanrooms, and pharmacy informatics. The AVP, Pharmacy Operations ensures these key operational areas with optimizing staffing, workflow and drug utilization.

The AVP, Pharmacy Operations works closely with the Chief Pharmacy Officer on capital and operating budgets, including operational oversight of approximately FTEs and annual pharmaceutical budget.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or PharmD
• Board of Pharmacy license in good standing for state of residence. Must obtain KY and IN Board of Pharmacy license post hire
• MBA or Master's Degree in Finance
• 5+ years in related work experience in pharmacy operations in a large healthcare system setting with a pattern of increasing responsibility
• 3+ years management experience or large teams
