We are looking for a customer and partner obsessed Program Manager focused on delivering best in class, innovative products and solutions. Reporting to the VP, Integrated Environments, this role will lead planning and execution of assigned strategic, client and platform projects/programs for the MSF Integrated Environments team. The role requires strong project/program management coupled with cross-functional influencing and team building skills. The role will drive activities across multiple functions, workstreams and teams toward the successful on-time completion of key initiatives. The role will provide program leadership, oversight and governance and will work successfully across all levels of the organization including program teams, sponsors, steering committees, and executive/senior leaders. A successful candidate is comfortable with ambiguity, can operate in a fast moving, agile environment, is a team player that collaborates well cross functionally and acts as an owner, proactively taking initiative.

Essential Responsibilities:
Serve as Program Manager/Subject Matter Expert for the technical, business and customer experience aspects of assigned products
Cross reference market intelligence, client needs, cross functional feedback to generate market assessments that identify product needs and opportunities
Partner with the Go To Market team to drive commercialization efforts and ensure the right tools, content, training are in place for internal and external teams
Act as the point of engagement for Compliance and Legal to ensure adherence with all external and internal compliance and regulatory requirements
Drive optimal, product-specific customer experience, and provide wing-to-wing oversight on all product programs touching the customer journey
Support product roadmaps by executing on key initiatives ensuring high quality of delivery
Lead the coordination, delivery, and development of multisource financing products, capabilities and features enabled via Integrated Environments
Own and oversee the execution of the product development strategy, ensuring multiple agile teams are aligned, roadblocks are identified and overcome to meet on time delivery
Partner with broader MSF team to develop and align on business requirements to meet the customer, client and business objectives—help drive alignment with MSF OKRs and agile build/timing
Partner closely with technology program leaders and agile train leadership when applicable to drive execution of product enablement from requirement development through prioritization, testing, and launch
Provide leadership and own the escalation point for all issues that might arise across functional teams in assigned workstreams
Develop and manage rigorous project management and control plans, working closely with process owners, subject matter experts, project sponsors, champions, and senior management to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget
Serve as the integration and enablement leader for assigned projects/programs
Partner with the Go To Market, SalesForce, and RAPID teams to align enablement processes
Optimize multisource enablement for merchants, practices, dealers, etc across Integrated Environment channels
Effectively navigate cross-functional requirements associated with enablement to remove roadblocks, solicit support and keep product enablement moving forward
Manage and coordinate system requirement processes, such as MFA and password updates, with ASTRA, data analytics, IT, agile teams, etc.
Support Integrated Environments and foster collaborative partnerships that enhance the multisource financing capability and drive business growth.
Manage and coordinate efforts to facilitate seamless enablement of clients with MSF
Oversee and implement client enablement and capability requests. Evaluate and qualify requests to minimize disruptions and maximize efficiency
Contribute to the business strategy by identifying opportunities for expansion, optimizing existing processes, and implementing strategic initiatives to maximize client satisfaction and overall program success.
Strong communication skillset and executive presence is key – provide updates to senior leaders and other internal and external stakeholders on integration project statuses on a regular basis.
Travel to Synchrony Hubs and client locations as needed to lead discovery sessions, project kick-off meetings, work-out sessions, etc.
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or, in lieu of a degree, a high school diploma/GED and 6 years of marketing or product experience in the credit card or financial services industries
4+ years marketing or product experience that includes:
A proven track record of launching new products or applications with demonstrated business impact
Ability to influence and coordinate multi-functional teams
Project management experience
Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required
Desired Qualifications:
Credit card, consumer finance, payments, financial services or retail services industry experience.
1-3+ years conversion or business integration experience
Strong agile experience preferably in product management
Demonstrated ability to manage complex initiatives and projects in a matrixed, high speed, and quickly changing business environment.
Outstanding communications, relationship building, influencing and collaboration skills
Demonstrated strong quality/process improvement experience, with relevant examples that improved business performance and customer experience
Advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to develop innovative solutions in a fast-changing environment
Current on financial services, payments industry trends, competitors, emerging technologies and companies
Strong technical knowledge (financial services)
Strong UX / customer experience focus
Experience working with partners and vendors, where negotiation skills are required
Proactive, self-starter with a high degree of self-initiation
Grade/Level: 10
The salary range for this position is 75,000.00 - 130,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.
Eligibility Requirements:
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
