The AVP leads a team of Account Executives, focusing on maintaining and expanding relationships, as well as protecting and growing revenue with existing Equifax Workforce Solutions (WS) Employer Services clients.
This role involves strategically guiding and supporting Account Executives to oversee and represent the full suite of WS solutions for their assigned client portfolios. They act as trusted partners and advisors, aiming to maximize the use and effectiveness of each client's solutions.
The AVP reports to the Vice President of Enterprise Sales and will closely coordinate with Employer Services executives on client management when appropriate. The AVP will also collaborate with others to execute strategy, communicate vertical-specific insights and challenges, and plan strategically for client management within their respective verticals.
Direct, lead, develop and evaluate assigned sales professionals ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction and achievement of assigned quotas in accordance with company goals, strategy, standards and policies.
Leverage and direct the account executive team to develop/execute both short-and long-term sales strategies that maximize revenue, margin, market share and relationship breadth and depth.
Train and develop sales professionals in the consultative selling process and best practice tools and techniques.
Develop and clearly communicate goals for managing assigned account(s) along with logical strategies for meeting and exceeding those goals. Clearly communicate goals for the accounts by Line of Business and develop effective strategies to meet client and Equifax goals.
Enable a team of sales professionals to accurately identify problems, recognize symptoms, and formulate effective solutions and alternatives.
Provide market and "voice of customer" feedback to the COE teams regarding competitive offering and client needs to enhance product and solution development.
Establish and maintain strong, enduring clients and partner relationships, specifically at the senior leadership level. Explore new solutions as well as ensure growth and retention of business.
Work closely with various business partners to provide best practices, insight, and direction to the Account Executive team.
Successfully manages contract negotiations, contract renewals and RFP responses for existing services within their own book of business.
Recruit, develop and manage team performance. Provide coaching and mentoring to team members to ensure a strong succession strategy is in place. Maintain an effective departmental structure that optimizes resources and skill sets to meet both the customers and the organization's objectives.
What experience you need:
7-10 years of experience in a client facing, strategic sales role with proven sales/solution selling experience
1-3 years of experience in managing a sales organization
Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience
Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
What could set you apart:
5+ years experience managing a sales organization
Experience in the following industries highly preferred: Restaurant, Retail and SAAS.
Strong understanding of large, complex customers and ability to partner and influence the agendas of multiple client partners
Experience demonstrating innovation (working knowledge of Equifax products in each business unit a plus)
Knowledge of existing and emerging regulatory/compliance requirements, including the ability to use that knowledge to actively drive sales
Superior skills and ability to present and communicate effectively with c-level executives
Exceptional written and oral communication skills; familiarity/comfort in public speaking
Proven negotiation skills
Experience working with cross-functional teams, demonstrated understanding of key skills across Equifax competencies
Ability to drive urgency in the sales cycle and the execution of solution strategies; exceptional ability to manage a robust pipeline
Excellent planning, organization, multi-tasking, prioritization and meeting facilitation skills
Proven experience in driving significant revenue growth with highly complex strategic clients

Equifax is required by law to include a good-faith salary range for this role. This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; and other business and organizational needs. At Equifax, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $130,000 to $150,000. This position is also eligible for our incentive compensation program at approximately 40%. The application window is anticipated to close on December 4, 2025.
