The Assistant Vice President and Assistant Treasurer-Capital Finance oversees capital project financing including the university’s external rating agency relationships and associated strategy, enterprise capital planning finance oversight, leadership and management of certain university strategic projects, and attracting, developing, and retaining a staff of talented financial professionals.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, public or business administration, or related field. Minimum of twelve (12) years of relevant work experience in dynamic and high energy capital markets and/or corporate finance environments. Considerable capital markets and management experience; strategic or long- range financial planning experience. Strong analytical and technical skills with solid working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint; Sound, flexible interpersonal skills with the ability to work with all levels of a dynamic university. A "can-do" and enabling attitude, combined with patience, perseverance, and the ability to deal constructively with challenges are an absolute necessity. Excellent written and oral communication skills; The highest degree of personal integrity and a strong commitment to and affinity for The Ohio State University.

Desired Qualifications:

Master’s degree and fifteen (15) or more years of relevant experience preferred. Experience with Workday Finance.
