MSS Security is seeking a Casual Aviation Protection Officer to join our team at Brisbane Airport. In this role, you will conduct additional aviation security checks while delivering a high standard of customer service in a dynamic airport environment.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Conduct additional security screening of passengers when required.
Perform Explosive Trace Detection testing.
Conduct scans of staff to ensure compliance with aviation security regulations.
Perform thorough bag searches of passengers to ensure compliance with aviation security regulations.
Patrol and monitor the aircrafts.
Perform passport checks in accordance with aviation security procedures.
Provide a high standard of customer service to passengers and airport staff.
Ideal candidates will have:
Strong customer service skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and highly regulated environment.
Requirements:
Full Australian working rights.
Valid QLD Security Licence.
Valid First Aid & CPR Certificates (or willing to obtain).
Comfortable working 4 hours shifts, with the possibility of extension when required.
Ability to undergo and obtain an ASIC.
Ability to undergo and pass a medical assessment (including drug and alcohol testing).
