Your new role 

  • Manage aviation hull and liability claims end‑to‑end - from lodgement through to finalisation - with accountability for quality and timeliness.

  • Partner closely with major brokers across a broker‑led portfolio, while supporting a set of direct client relationships.

  • Work closely and collaboratively with a strong, industry-leading team of aviation claims professionals

  • Assess loss adjuster reports, determine next steps, and authorise payments with strong technical judgement.

  • Maintain disciplined reserving practices and keep the claim file strategy current and defensible.

  • Stay across industry developments (news, incidents, client movements) to anticipate risks and inform decisions

  • Collaborate openly with loss adjusters and occasionally attend client or site visits to progress complex claims.

About you 

  • Proven capability managing complex claims with sound end‑to‑end ownership.

  • Trusted to work independently, prioritise effectively, and make confident recommendations on next steps and payments.

  • Skilled at building strong, professional relationships with brokers, loss adjusters, and underwriters.

  • Extensive claims experience ideally drawn from aviation, marine, or complex property, construction or adjacent lines; liability or personal injury exposure is highly transferable.

  • Sharp analytical skills with a disciplined approach to reserving and evidence‑based decision making.

  • Clear, empathetic communicator who keeps stakeholders informed and files well‑documented.
