Here’s what you can look forward to:

As an Aviation Business Support Specialist (m/f/d), based in London/Hamburg, you play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely invoicing & trade operations for our global airline customers. Working closely with our back office, airport operators, systems admins and sales teams you help maintain a high customer focus and quality of work.

Your meticulous attention to detail and reliability contributes to smooth operation, supporting the financial integrity of our organization. By ensuring that our ERP systems are up to date with contractual and trade information in time, you help create a seamless customer experience that fosters trust and satisfaction and creates new business opportunities.

Your tasks in a nutshell:

  • Oversee Back-Office Operations: You oversee daily back-office processes to ensure the smooth and reliable administration of customer aviation operations.

  • Manage Airport Fees: You monitor and manage airport fee changes end-to-end, ensuring accurate implementation and transparent documentation.

  • Control Invoicing & Claims: You ensure efficient and accurate AP/AR invoice processing and take ownership of structured claims management.

  • Support Aviation Team: You act as an ERP Super User, manage fuel receipt documentation, and provide ad hoc operational support to the Aviation team.

  • Manage Communications: You handle customer notifications and coordinate operational communications with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Drive Continuous Improvement: You identify opportunities to streamline processes, support automation initiatives, and improve efficiency through system enhancements and cross-functional collaboration.

What helps you to fulfill this role:

  • Education: completed college degree or comparable in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Professional Background: At least three years of experience in a business support, finance, operations, or back-office role within a commercially driven environment.

  • Technical Proficiency: Confident user of Microsoft Office and ERP systems such as SAP and RightAngle.

  • Industry Knowledge: Basic understanding of the aviation industry and fuels trading processes.

  • Data Proficiency: Strong experience working with multiple data sources and structuring, analysing, and streamlining data.
