1.1 Observe all Safety precautions, Food Safety requirements and Plant rules to prevent injury to self or others and to prevent loss of material or damage to equipment.
1.2 Follow and wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
1.3 Maintain good housekeeping and 5S.
1.4 Perform routine and preventative maintenance on production equipment as needed.
1.5 Repair and monitor production equipment as any need arises.
1.6 Assist with any fabrication needs during routine or unplanned building maintenance.
1.7 Assist in completing Preventative Maintenance needs for the facility infrastructure.
1.8 Assist other maintenance and Auxiliary Maintenance technicians as needed.
1.9 Participate in any project requiring outside contractor from OEM at the facility.
1.10 Perform fabrication work as needed in conjunction with PM team assignments.
1.11 Assess any persistent equipment problem by assisting in developing the needed solutions and/or improvements.
1.12 Assist in developing PM’s to be more robust and to capture common failure modes.
1.13 Work closely with Quality to find root cause of quality issues and develop mistake proofing.
1.14 Monitors up time of the equipment and reacts accordingly to drive improvements.
1.1 Capable of physical mobility including sitting, bending, twisting, standing, and lifting.
1.2 Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
1.3 Capable of maintaining an attendance record within company guidelines and working required overtime.
1.4 High school diploma or GED equivalency.
1.5 Read, write and speak English.
1.6 Past experience / proven ability within the specified disciplines.
1.7 Negative drug screen test results.
1.8 Possess functional knowledge of mechanical repair, maintenance on injection molding machines, and/or auxiliary equipment with one-year minimum practical application.
1.9 Possess functional knowledge of injection mold set-ups for Injection molding related position with a minimum of three years practical application.
1.10 Possess functional knowledge of auxiliary equipment set-ups for Auxiliary related position with a minimum of three years practical application.
1.11 Ability to design, develop, and implement fabrication projects.
1.12 Be able to read/interpret mechanical prints and build to those prints with a solid understanding of tolerancing for mechanical components.
1.13 Experience using many types of fabrication equipment i.e. bandsaw, hand tools, welding, torch, milling machine, shear, brake, etc.
1.14 Read electrical and hydraulic prints.
1.15 Background knowledge of gear oils and different types of lubricants.
1.16 Solid understanding of different types of fasteners and their proper use.
2.1 PowerPoint and Autocad are a plus but not required.
2.2 Programming experience preferred.
2.3 Statistical analysis understanding/experience
2.4 Electrical knowledge and experience in AC and DC 0-600 volts
2.5 Ability to read and understand dial indicators and various measuring devices preferred.
